Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quagmire Yeah!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris misses with a takedown

and Yeah counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Harris is trying to get back to half guard.
Harris really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Yeah wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Harris, who protects the arm well.

Yeah is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Harris is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harris holds on to Yeah's head and controls the position momentarily.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Yeah working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Harris is looking to regain half guard here but Yeah keeps moving and retains side control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Yeah tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Yeah has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Yeah is trying to get an arm triangle but Harris is defending well.
Harris is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Yeah off and has taken his back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Harris.
Harris lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Harris is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Yeah defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Harris lands with a hammerfist to the side of Yeah's head.
Harris lands a shot to the head.
Harris scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Yeah is looking for a way out.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Yeah won't enjoy being in this position. Harris looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Yeah is tapping - it's over boys! Harris picks up the submission victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jack Harris!
