Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Millard Cohen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adrian McMullen!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Cohen misses its intended target.
McMullen circles away from the clinch attempt.
McMullen on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Cohen closes the distance looking to clinch

so McMullen counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
McMullen wants to control from the top but Cohen keeps moving.
Cohen tries to strike from the bottom.
McMullen postures up in Cohen's guard and throws a big left but Cohen blocks it.
McMullen wants to control from the top but Cohen keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McMullen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cohen works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
McMullen with a flurry of punches that miss.
Cohen wants to sweep here but McMullen controlling him for the moment.
McMullen working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
McMullen distracts Cohen with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Cohen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McMullen on the ground.
Cohen keeping moving, preventing McMullen from controlling successfully.
McMullen is stalling in the full guard.

Cohen trying to keep a closed guard but McMullen is proving a slippery customer.
McMullen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

McMullen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Cohen is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of McMullen, into his guard.

McMullen has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Cohen should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, McMullen has tightened it up now! Cohen should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
