Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antero Rokka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noel Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rokka comes to the cage accompanied by Twilight Guardians - Out of Our Hands. Smith has chosen Duality - Slipknot as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Antero Rokka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Noel Smith!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Kavanagh and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rokka throws a head kick but Smith moves out of range.
Rokka slips a jab from Smith.
Rokka throws a chopping leg kick but Smith manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Rokka swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Smith drops Rokka with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rokka looks back up at him and smiles so Smith waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Antero Rokka has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
That kick from Rokka tenderised Smith's leg. Smith is trying to keep his angry face on.
We've been informed that Smith has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Rokka uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Smith.
Smith misses the jab.
Smith misses with a looping left.
Noel Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab lands there for Rokka.
Rokka throws a nice looking combination but Smith bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rokka scores with a kick to the body.

Rokka lands a big head kick that sends Smith tumbling to the mat! Rokka takes a step backwards and waves Smith back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Smith scores with a crisp jab that stopped Rokka in his tracks.
Rokka tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smith was well out of range. Poor timing from Rokka.
Rokka pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rokka loads up on a big right hand but Smith slips the punch.

Rokka cracks Smith with a right hand to the side of the head.
Antero Rokka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Smith swings away with a body shot that misses
and Rokka makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Rokka throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Smith.
Smith misses the body punch
and Rokka counters with a left to the body.

Rokka closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Rokka cracks Smith with a nice body shot.
A nice left hand lands by Smith.
Smith blocks a body shot from Rokka.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Smith takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Smith has a couple of punches blocked by Rokka.
Rokka tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Rokka lands a right hand that snaps the head of Smith backwards.

Rokka breaks from the clinch.
Smith takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Smith throws a hook but Rokka blocks it.
Rokka stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rokka wants it to stay on the feet.
Smith looks to land a right hand but Rokka moved out of range.
Smith missing with a left hand there. Rokka was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rokka slips under a jab from Smith.
The crowd cheers as Smith lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rokka doesn't seem phased though.
Smith throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rokka goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Rokka slips a straight right by Smith.
Rokka comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Smith moves away from the strike by Rokka.

Smith takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Rokka walks into a stiff left hand from Smith.
Rokka scores with a kick to the midsection.
Smith jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rokka ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A decent looking cross lands there for Rokka.
Smith might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Smith shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Rokka throws a body kick that misses.

Smith takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Smith is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rokka finds Smith's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Smith flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Rokka lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Smith will be OK.

In his post fight interview, Antero Rokka started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
