Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Mctanned (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Loholt Pendragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pendragon has chosen Counting Stars as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Paul Mctanned!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Loholt Pendragon!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pendragon lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.


It looks like Paul Mctanned has been cut.
Pendragon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pendragon lands a nice shot that snaps Mctanned's head back.
Pendragon bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Pendragon swings widly with a right hand

and Mctanned counters with a single leg into guard. Pendragon didn't expect that.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Mctanned trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Mctanned trying to control the position from guard on top but Pendragon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mctanned passes Pendragon's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Mctanned is working for a kimura but Pendragon is defending it quite comfortably.
Mctanned is thwarting Pendragon's attempts to control the position.

Pendragon is holding on to half guard well.

Pendragon is trying to maintain the position but Mctanned is very close to passing his half guard.
Mctanned trying to control from Pendragon's half guard. Pendragon has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Mctanned is fighting to break Pendragon's control of his arms but Pendragon is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Mctanned wants to control from the top but Pendragon keeps moving.

Pendragon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mctanned is one step ahead there.

Pendragon throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Mctanned stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pendragon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've been hearing that Mctanned has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Mctanned stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pendragon swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Pendragon regains half guard, as Mctanned was trying to land strikes.
Mctanned blocks the strikes from Pendragon.

Mctanned moves into full mount! Pendragon won't be happy about that!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pendragon is wriggling around trying to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mctanned thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Pendragon tries to hold on but Mctanned pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mctanned tries a low kick but Pendragon avoids it.
Pendragon swings for the body but Mctanned moves out of range.
Pendragon misses with a body shot.
Mctanned is looking to chop away at Pendragon's legs.
Loholt Pendragon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pendragon cracks Mctanned with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Mctanned bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Pendragon lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pendragon.

Mctanned slips a straight right by Pendragon.
Mctanned tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Pendragon is able to avoid easily.

Pendragon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mctanned was well out of range. Poor timing from Pendragon.

Mctanned throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pendragon was covering up waiting for the punch and Mctanned finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Paul Mctanned overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Mctanned advances position into side control!
Pendragon can't do much from the bottom here.
Pendragon is trying to work for a sweep but Mctanned has mounted him!

Pendragon gets back to half guard.
Mctanned lands strikes from half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pendragon is staying active underneath Mctanned, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Mctanned is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pendragon defends it well.
Mctanned not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Mctanned thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Mctanned prevents Pendragon from improving his position.
Mctanned takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Pendragon is refusing to be controlled, as Mctanned sits in half guard.

Mctanned is keen to just control but Pendragon is a slippery customer.

Mctanned buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Pendragon throws a body punch but Mctanned moves out of range.

Pendragon goes for a double leg but Mctanned avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mctanned continues to drive forward.
Pendragon prevents a takedown attempt there.
Pendragon has Mctanned pushed against the cage.
Pendragon is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Mctanned is looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Mctanned. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Come on Pendragon - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Mctanned has Pendragon pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mctanned pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Pendragon tumbling to the mat - Mctanned dives into Pendragon's guard.

Pendragon holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Mctanned tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Pendragon is squirming around, avoiding Mctanned's attempts to control the action.
Pendragon manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Mctanned trying to mount his opponent but Pendragon defends it.

Mctanned is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Pendragon still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Pendragon has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Mctanned looks to move to half guard but instead Pendragon has passed into mount! Damn!
Mctanned is in all sorts of trouble here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Loholt Pendragon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Pendragon has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
