The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maurer tries to close the distance and clinch but Riley swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Maurer connects with a jab.

It looks like Robt Riley has been cut.
Riley tries to score a power double leg takedown but Maurer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Riley somewhat.
Riley misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Riley circles away from the clinch attempt.
Maurer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Maurer doesn't manage to clinch there - Riley circles away.
Riley dives in and grabs Maurer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Maurer pushes down on Riley's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robt Riley. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Riley has a couple of punches blocked by Maurer.
Maurer is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Maurer lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Riley backwards.

Riley fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Maurer comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Maurer lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Riley backwards.

Robt Riley's cut is getting worse.

Oh Riley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Maurer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Maurer lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Riley is looking to close the distance but Maurer sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Riley crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Riley is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
