Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brotiz Bruttz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zdeno Chara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zdeno Chara has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chara moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Bruttz has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Diamond In The Rough Training Facility in the buildup to the fight.
Bruttz takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Bruttz gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Chara to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Chara slips nicely into half guard.
Chara passes to full mount!
Chara trying to control but Bruttz is having none of it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bruttz is desperately trying to improve his position but Chara has a good base and remains in mount.
You get the feeling that Bruttz really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Bruttz has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Bruttz controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Bruttz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chara on the ground.
I really don't envy Bruttz right now.

Chara is working for a rear naked choke. Bruttz is not defending it well and Chara has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Bruttz refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Bruttz's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Zdeno Chara!
