The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaverez throws a head kick that Octavio semi-blocks.
Octavio looks to land a combination but Chaverez avoids it well.
Chaverez lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Octavio takes the fight into the clinch.
Octavio keeps control of Chaverez as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Octavio wants to stall.
Octavio prevents Chaverez from breaking the clinch.
Chaverez is looking to break free of the clinch but Octavio has double underhooks.
Octavio manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Octavio keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Chaverez's efforts to push away.
Chaverez is trying to push Octavio away but Octavio has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Chaverez is looking to break free of the clinch but Octavio has double underhooks.

Octavio works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Octavio slips nicely into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Octavio seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Chaverez is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
