Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vernon Mcfarland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Greof (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Greof bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Mcfarland seems a little lost for a moment, as Greof dominates the positioning.
Greof misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Greof landing a few strikes.
Greof cracks Mcfarland with a big right hand but Mcfarland just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Greof scores with a couple of short elbows.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Greof has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Greof changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mcfarland tries to avoid it but Greof manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mcfarland to the ground. Mcfarland escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mcfarland is rocked!

Mcfarland is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Greof dives into side control.
Oh Mcfarland is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mcfarland is working to avoid the ground and pound but Greof connects with a decent elbow.
Greof has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Mcfarland!
Greof tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Greof throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Mcfarland has his hands clasped together but Greof breaks the hold and Mcfarland is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Greof!
