Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ruslan Aslamanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cervantes De Leon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Leon takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
De Leon has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Aslamanov is landing a low percentage of strikes.

and Aslamanov counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

De Leon is trying to stand back up but Aslamanov is controlling him

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Aslamanov wants to work for an arm triangle but De Leon is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Aslamanov in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. De Leon tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Aslamanov!

After winning the bout, Ruslan Aslamanov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
The defeated Cervantes De Leon had this to say: 'I'm gonna come back from this defeat, learn from it, and make sure I dont make the same mistakes twice. I know I have the ability to become champion one day, I just need to refocus my training to give myself the best chance to do that'.
