Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Lester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abel Trujillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trujillo has chosen 2Pac - Hit Em Up as his entrance music. Bryan Lester has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Bryan Lester!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Abel Trujillo!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trujillo stuffs the takedown attempt from Lester. Lester gets slowly back to his feet.
Lester shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Trujillo as he jumps to the side.
Trujillo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Trujillo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Lester definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Lester wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Lester wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Trujillo pushes Lester back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Bryan Lester has been cut.
Lester dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Lester is trying to push Trujillo away but Trujillo has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Lester will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Trujillo up against the cage.
Trujillo lands a knee to the head.

Lester jumps guard but Trujillo stands there with Lester around his waist. Lester gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bryan Lester. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lester wants to stall.

Lester tightens his grip and picks Trujillo up, before dumping him to the ground. Trujillo manages to land in guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Trujillo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lester is controlling him.
Lester tries to free his leg and advance position but Trujillo is retaining full guard.

Lester wanted to stand there but Trujillo had control of the position.
Trujillo is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Lester dives into side control.
Trujillo wants to get back to his feet but Lester drags him back down.

Lester stands up and beckons Trujillo to his feet.

Trujillo clinches.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lester wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Lester's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Lester has had enough of the clinch but Trujillo keeps him there for the moment.
Lester is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Lester tries to pull guard but Trujillo won't allow it.

Lester breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lester shoots for a takedown but Trujillo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Trujillo shoots for a double leg takedown but Lester sprawls well. He's pushed Trujillo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Trujillo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lester is fending him off so far but Trujillo persists. Nope, Lester circles away and we're back to standing.
Lester tries to clinch up but Trujillo circles away and keeps his distance.
Trujillo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Trujillo wants to clinch up but Lester keeps it at a distance.
Lester throws a sloppy head kick
letting Trujillo counter with a right hand.

Lester rushes Trujillo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lester misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Trujillo lands with a short shot to the head.
Trujillo lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Lester is rocked!

Oh Lester is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Trujillo unloads a knee to the mid-section. Lester lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Lester tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Lester wants to break free but Trujillo has control.
Trujillo working the clinch nicely. Lester is working for position but Trujillo cracks him with a big knee to the head! Lester crumples up against the cage and Trujillo lands two more shots before the ref can save Lester! This one is all over!

After the fight, Abel Trujillo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
