Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alonzo Dalton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andy Scott!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Steve Erwin and Ben Hemmingworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott misses with a head kick.
Scott throws a head kick that misses.

Scott gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Dalton breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dalton throws a head kick that misses.
Dalton tries to clinch but Scott is having none of it.
Dalton throws a head kick but Scott moves out of range.
Scott pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Scott is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.


It looks like Alonzo Dalton has been cut.
Scott circles away from the clinch attempt
and Scott counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dalton thinking.
Scott falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dalton counters with a lovely straight right hand!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dalton throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Scott fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Dalton checks it well.
A left and a right from Scott both land. Nice combination.

Scott rushes Dalton and presses him up against the cage.
Scott is trying to break the clinch but Dalton is controlling him.
Dalton wants to break the clinch but can't.
Dalton using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Dalton can't get the takedown.
Dalton fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Dalton wants to break the clinch but can't.
Dalton letting Scott take a breather here.

Dalton manages to break the clinch.
Scott misses with a few strikes there.

Scott clinches up against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Scott has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Dalton is trying to keep an underhook but Scott manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Scott is looking to take a break and control but Dalton is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Scott stands up and beckons Dalton to join him on the feet.

Scott takes the fight into the clinch.

Scott manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
We've been informed that Scott has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Scott is adopting a defensive guard.

Dalton is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Scott is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Scott has escaped and now he's on top!

Scott got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dalton has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Scott has managed to get both his arms back between Dalton's legs - danger averted.

Scott is looking to stand up but Dalton won't let him.
Dalton keeping moving, preventing Scott from controlling successfully.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Scott wants to stand but Dalton has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Scott is looking to work some ground and pound but Dalton has wrist control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andy Scott dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Alonzo Dalton's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Oooooh!!! Scott has knocked Dalton down with a huge combo! Scott steps away and waves a wobbly Dalton back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Scott misses with a wild combination.
Scott lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Dalton falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
