Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sam Seed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seed comes to the cage accompanied by Drunken Master. Connor Freeman is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Connor Freeman!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Freeman swats away the attempt to clinch by Seed.
Donk. Seed catches Freeman right on the button with a cross.
Freeman darts in looking for a takedown but Seed gets double underhooks and turns Freeman into the cage.
Seed misses with some punches.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Seed.
Freeman is trying to break the clinch but Seed has him pressed against the cage.
Seed trying to land knees to the body.
Freeman wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Seed swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Seed is working for takedown but Freeman is calmly controlling the position for now.
Freeman is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Freeman's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Freeman comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Seed misses with a low kick.
Freeman cracks a nice hook into Seed's ribs.

Freeman misses with a takedown attempt - Seed sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Our sources have told us that Seed has been working on his elbows in the gym.

Freeman avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Seed swings widly with a right hand

and Freeman counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Seed!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Seed tries to improve position but can't.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Freeman slows the pace down.
Seed is looking for a sweep.
Freeman scores with a couple of short elbows.
Freeman wants to control but Seed is keeping him busy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Freeman tries to move to mount but Seed blocks the move with his legs.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Connor Freeman will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Seed postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Freeman is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Seed, into his guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Freeman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Freeman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Freeman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Seed tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Freeman is looking to take a break and control but Seed is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Seed tries to bench press Freeman off him but Freeman keeps the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sam Seed will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Seed tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Freeman was well out of range. Poor timing from Seed.

Seed pivots, looking for a leg kick but Freeman is out of range and Seed settles back down.
Seed shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Freeman but Freeman pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Seed ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Freeman moves away.
Seed throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Freeman closes the distance and clinches up with Seed, looking for a takedown. Freeman pushes Seed against the cage but Seed circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Freeman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Seed as he avoids it easily.
Sam Seed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Connor Freeman.
Seed pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Seed tries to clinch up but Freeman circles away and keeps his distance.
That kick from Freeman tenderised Seed's leg. Seed is trying to keep his angry face on.

Freeman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Seed tries to avoid it but Freeman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Seed to the ground. Seed escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Seed walks into a left hand.
Seed shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Freeman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Freeman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Freeman shoots in for a takedown but Seed shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Seed leaves Freeman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Seed is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Seed bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Freeman's guard.

I would just about give that final round to Connor Freeman.
I think Freeman has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
