The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vladimirovich closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Valentine is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Vladimirovich is keeping busy.

Vladimirovich dives in and grabs Valentine's left leg, looking for a takedown. Valentine pushes down on Vladimirovich's head and hops out.
Hipolito Valentine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vlad Vladimirovich.
The fight stays on the outside here - Vladimirovich looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
