Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Olek Skilgannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Skilgannon comes into the arena with La Ultima Hora - Breed 77 blaring out of the sound system. Chris Cook has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Cook!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Skilgannon tries to sprawl but Cook drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Cook is thwarting Skilgannon's attempts to control the position.
Cook throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Cook looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Skilgannon is trying to maintain the position but Cook is very close to passing his half guard.
Cook not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Cook trying to mount his opponent but Skilgannon defends it.
Skilgannon trying to hold on to Cook's head to control him but Cook postures up.
Cook throwing shots but Skilgannon is blocking nicely.
Cook wants to lay and pray for a moment but Skilgannon keeps working.
Well, if Cook is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Skilgannon tries a head kick but it misses.

Cook instigates a clinch.
Cook is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Cook goes for a takedown in the clinch but Skilgannon prevents it.

Cook is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Skilgannon can't fight it off and eventually Cook manages to take the fight to the floor. Skilgannon looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Cook really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Skilgannon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cook feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Skilgannon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cook can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

It looks like Cook might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Well Cook has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
