Holden kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Act a Fool. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Holden misses its intended target.
Moreira slips a jab and a cross from Holden.
The fighters circle momentarily. Holden darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Moreira swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Holden just misses with a punch to the body.
Holden throws a right hand that Moreira ducks under and follows up with a left that Moreira also avoids with ease.
Moreira pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Holden darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

A cross from Moreira lands.

Moreira lands a big right hand that sends Holden crashing to the mat! Moreira stays standing though and waves Holden back to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A head kick by Moreira - that's a beauty! Holden is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Moreira can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Daniel Vieira Moreira decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
