Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Armor King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russel Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes to the cage accompanied by Armor King. Richards has chosen Meytal Cohen - Toxicity as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Left hook, right uppercut from Richards.
King has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Hate Made Me Asylum in the buildup to the fight.
King wants to land a leg kick but Richards is out of range.
Nice jab there from Richards.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Richards scores with a jab.

King throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Richards tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. King is in Richards's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Richards looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Richards preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

King wants to get up but he can't break Richards's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
King looks for a takedown but Richards sprawls well.
Richards scores with a jab.
Russel Richards is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Richards smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Richards fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Richards lands with a straight right. King didn't see that one coming.
This has been an exciting period of action!
King dives in and grabs Richards's left leg, looking for a takedown. Richards pushes down on King's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Armor King. That's going to take a lot out of him.

King clinches up against the cage.

King wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
King is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Richards lands a nice shot to the body.
Richards lands with a short punch from the clinch.
King fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Richards lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
King is trying to drag Richards to the mat but Richards just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
King is breathing heavily.
Richards lands a shot to the body.

Richards gets through King's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

King is rocked!
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Richards.
Oh King is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Richards swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Richards creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends King's eyes rolling into the back of his head! King drops to his knees and Richards pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
