Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Richard Hickock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaito Rin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hickock comes to the cage accompanied by Why can't we be friends. Rin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Tracktor Bowling - Scars. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hickock ducks under a wild hook from Rin.

Hickock has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hickock there as he acknowledges the shot.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Hickock tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Rin is able to avoid easily.

Rin throws a low kick, looking for Hickock's leg but Hickock calmly moves out of range.
Rin lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hickock at a distance.

and Rin counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hickock's guard now.
Rin tries to free his leg and advance position but Hickock is retaining full guard.

Rin postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hickock is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rin, into his guard.

Rin seems keen to control Hickock's posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hickock wants to control from the top but Rin keeps moving.
Hickock wants to stand and escape but instead Rin has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Richard Hickock will probably get the nod.

That's time! Hickock's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Hickock tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The crowd cheers as Rin lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hickock doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Hickock has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Rin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hickock's head.
Rin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Rin lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Rin is keen to just control but Hickock is a slippery customer.

Rin seems to be working for a kimura but Hickock defends the submission attempt.
Hickock regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Rin.
Hickock controls Rin momentarily but Rin frees himself.

Rin tries to free his leg and advance position but Hickock is retaining full guard.
Rin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hickock is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hickock seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Hickock is looking to take a break and control but Rin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Hickock passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Rin!
