The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Light waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jokinen.
Light on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Light throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Light needs to keep his hands up - Jokinen had a free shot at his head there.
Jokinen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A nice inside leg kick there by Jokinen. That's going to slow Light down.
Jokinen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Light looks to land a right hand but Jokinen moved out of range.
Light connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

and Jokinen counters with a right hand to the body.
Jokinen ducks under a wild hook from Light.
No joy there for Light, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Light darts in trying to clinch
and Jokinen counters with a nice leg kick.
Jokinen lands a nice hook to Light's body. Light takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Light lands a head shot.
Light moves to clinch but Jokinen breaks away
and Jokinen counters with a thumping low kick.

Jokinen throws a quick inside leg kick.
Light looks to land a left hand but Jokinen moved out of range nicely.
Jokinen lands with a nice combination. Light backs away looking to recover.
That kick from Jokinen tenderised Light's leg. Light is trying to keep his angry face on.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Light looks to land a combination but Jokinen avoids it well.

and Jokinen finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Light throws a nice looking combination but Jokinen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Light takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Light misses with a two punch combination.
A chopping leg kick lands by Jokinen.
Light rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jokinen counters with a nice kick to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jokinen bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Light's head backwards.
Jokinen ducks under a wild hook from Light.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jokinen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Light moves away.
Jokinen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Jokinen takes a swing at Light's ribcage but misses.
Light sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Jokinen connects with the punch.
Light blocks a head kick by Jokinen.
Light looks to score with a jab to the body but Jokinen is just out of range.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jokinen.
Jokinen lands with a kick to the temple. Light shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Light is rocked!
Light's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Jokinen throws a powerful right kick. Light tried to block low but the kick was high! Light was taken right off of his feet! Jokinen jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
