Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Smooth Operator. Nikiel is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Krystian Pudzianowski - Slowianski wiatr. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Nikiel.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nikiel lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jones has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jones and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Nikiel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jones looks for a takedown but Nikiel sprawls well.
Nikiel lands a head shot.

It looks like Game Time Jones has been cut.
Jones takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nikiel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nikiel jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jones keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A combination from Nikiel does no damage.
Mariusz Nikiel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Nikiel lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jones circles away quickly and effectively.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nikiel misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nikiel throws a hook to the side of Jones's head but Jones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jones moves out of range of the body kick from Nikiel.
Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nikiel.
Nikiel pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Jones looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Jones is looking to take a break and control but Nikiel is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jones thows a huge punch but Nikiel dodges it nicely.
Nikiel tries to kick Jones off but Jones keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Jones is trying for a kimura here. Nikiel looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Jones wins by kimura!
