Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazar gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kilonee counters with an outside leg kick.
Kilonee drives through with a takedown into Lazar's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Kilonee is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Kilonee might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Kilonee decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Kilonee instigates a clinch.
Lazar tries to break the clinch but Kilonee is controlling the position.

Kilonee fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lazar sprawls well initially but Kilonee persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kilonee lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Lazar is in trouble now - Kilonee has advanced to mount!

Kilonee seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lazar for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Dre Kilonee just wasn't active enough.
Kilonee slips a jab and a cross from Lazar.

Lazar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kilonee moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lazar looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lazar tries to clinch
and Kilonee counters by moving into the clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Kilonee.
Kilonee lands a takedown into guard.
Kilonee stays in close to Lazar's body and controls the position.

We're going to have a standup here because Dre Kilonee wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Lazar wants to clinch but Kilonee slips to the side
and Kilonee counters by moving into the clinch.
Lazar tries to pull guard but Kilonee forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Lazar drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lazar tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kilonee smiles and moves away.
Dre Kilonee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chi Lazar.
Lazar throws the kick towards the body but Kilonee avoids it.
Lazar closes the distance but Kilonee moves to the side
and Kilonee counters with a takedown into side control.
Kilonee decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Lazar throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kilonee.
Lazar misses with an attempted mid kick.

Lazar tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Kilonee counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kilonee.
Kilonee drags the fight down to the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kilonee is on top in guard.
Lazar can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kilonee controls the pace.
Kilonee passes into half guard.
Lazar is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Kilonee has latched onto it... Big trouble! Kilonee pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Lazar is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Kilonee!
