Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Branton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Name moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Branton misses with a jab, cross combination.
Branton connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

It looks like Generic Name has been cut.
Branton connects with a nice looking jab.

Branton cracks Name with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Branton has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Name to stand back up!

Name is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Name drops his hands momentarily. Branton doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Name staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Name doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Billy Branton was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
Generic Name was interviewed post fight and said 'Who's John Galt?'.
