Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darrell Miles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ogami Itto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Miles might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tupac - Only God Can Judge Me. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miles stuffs the takedown.

Itto dives in and scores a takedown into Miles's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Itto with a flurry of punches that miss.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Itto accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Itto won't allow Miles to sweep him here.
Itto sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Miles's guard.
Itto has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Itto is nestled in close to Miles, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Miles wants to control but Itto is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Itto makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Miles is breathing heavily.
Itto feints and then cracks Miles's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Miles down.
Miles thows a left - swing and a miss!

Itto shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Miles's guard.
Itto makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Itto passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Miles is looking to regain half guard here but Itto keeps moving and retains side control.
