Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ebanij Nasos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Combs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nasos comes to the cage accompanied by Military Soviet Hymn . Combs has chosen All About The Benjamins as his entrance music. Ebanij Nasos could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sean Combs's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ebanij Nasos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sean Combs!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nasos throws a right hand that Combs ducks under and follows up with a left that Combs also avoids with ease.

Combs darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Combs thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nasos's head.

Combs is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Nasos is just riding it out for now. Combs eventually gives up the hold.

Combs is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nasos really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Nasos is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Combs.

Combs shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Combs was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Combs is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Nasos is surviving well by controlling Combs's body position as best he can.

Nasos's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Nasos holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Combs tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Combs won't let Nasos get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Combs has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
BOOM! Combs connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Nasos throws a shot from downtown. Combs moves away and avoids it.
Combs lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Nasos throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Combs moves out of range of the strikes.
Combs jabs Nasos right on the nose. Nasos blinks but takes it well.
Combs ducks under a wild hook from Nasos.
Combs stalks Nasos and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nasos's face. Nasos staggers backwards, shaken.
Nasos looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Combs takes a jab right on the kisser.
Combs misses the shot to the body.
A lazy left from Combs finds it's target.
Combs bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Combs ducks under a wild hook from Nasos.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Combs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Combs wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nasos, who protects the arm well.

Combs is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nasos knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Nasos is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Combs asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Some wild striking there from Nasos.

Combs shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Combs postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Nasos preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Combs trying to control but Nasos is working from the bottom.

Nasos is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Nasos breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Combs scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.


It looks like Ebanij Nasos has been cut.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Combs connects with a looping right hand.
Combs scores with a crisp jab that stopped Nasos in his tracks.

Nasos gets caught flat footed, as Combs shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Combs won't allow Nasos to get back to his feet.
Combs looking to pass the guard.

Combs drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Combs jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Combs stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nasos swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Nasos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Nasos can't keep his opponent in guard - Combs advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Combs wants to take a breather but Nasos is having none of it.

Combs swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nasos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nasos takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
