The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn lands a head shot.

It looks like Red Redyan has been cut.
Penn connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Penn misses with a looping left.
Steel Penn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Penn jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Penn throws a shot to the body.
We've been informed that Penn has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Penn slips a jab and a cross from Redyan.
Penn tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Penn connects with a nice looking jab.
Penn cracks Redyan with an open hand slap.

Penn lands a big head kick that sends Redyan tumbling to the mat! Penn takes a step backwards and waves Redyan back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Penn connects with a stiff jab that staggers Redyan - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
