The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Poole shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Poole prevents Lindegaard from standing back up.
Lindegaard tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Poole manages to move to mount!
Poole lands a big elbow.
Lindegaard is trying to stand up.

Lindegaard somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Lindegaard stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lindegaard wants it to stay on the feet.
Lindegaard shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Poole defends it nicely.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lindegaard circles away from the clinch attempt.

Poole scores with a head kick. Lindegaard tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Poole defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lindegaard.
Lindegaard swats away the attempt to clinch by Poole.
Poole tries to clinch but Lindegaard moves out of range.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lindegaard drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lindegaard jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Lindegaard has gone for a leg lock! Poole slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lindegaard's guard.

Poole trying to control but Lindegaard is working from the bottom.

Poole drops back looking for a leg! Lindegaard is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lindegaard manages to kick Poole off! Poole jumps back into Lindegaard's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lindegaard can do anything to dispel that myth.

Lindegaard wants to stand but Poole is controlling the position.

Poole trying to control the position from guard on top but Lindegaard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lindegaard is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Poole is controlling him.

Poole drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Poole as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Lindegaard screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Poole! Nice submission victory there!
