And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fransino Tirta!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schulmann moves away from the strike by Tirta.
Tirta swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Schulmann counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
We've been informed that Tirta has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Tirta throws a series of punches but Schulmann avoids them all with ease.

and Tirta counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Schulmann is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Tirta lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Schulmann circles away quickly and effectively.
Schulmann dives in for a single leg takedown but Tirta sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Schulmann is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Werewolf's cave, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Yaniv Schulmann will probably get the nod.

Tirta is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tirta walks straight into a right hand from Schulmann - that's dropped him! Schulmann jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Tirta from any more punishment! Tirta complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
