The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slag gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Malone.

It looks like Dodelike Slag has been cut.
Slag scoring well with a low kick there.
A head kick misses from Malone.
Malone blocks a low kick nicely.
Slag fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Slag darts in trying to clinch

and Malone holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Malone creates a bit of space and fires a knee right up the middle, almost lifting Slag off his feet and sending him crashing to the canvas! Slag is trying to get back to his feet but his equilibrium is completely gone! The referee has called it off! This fight is over! Malone is jumping up and down like a mad man, celebrating with his cornermen.

After the fight, Frankie Malone was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
