Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Meyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sellus Gravius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meyer comes to the cage accompanied by I'd Love to Knock the Hell out of You. Gravius has chosen Morrowind as his entrance music. Sellus Gravius told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

With a record of 19 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sellus Gravius!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gravius smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

It looks like Kurt Meyer has been cut.
Meyer takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Gravius throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Meyer's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gravius throws a lazy body kick
and Meyer counters with an outside leg kick.
Meyer has been working on his boxing with his coaches at ~T~ Troid - Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Meyer is looking to slow Gravius down with leg kicks.
Meyer pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Gravius fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Meyer, pushing him back against the cage.
Meyer on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Gravius crunches a lovely knee into Meyer's ribcage.
Meyer wants to get back to striking at distance but Gravius won't allow it.
Gravius lands with a short shot to the head.
Meyer has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Gravius escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Meyer fails to land with a series of punches.
Gravius has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Gravius keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gravius checks the leg kick nicely there.

Meyer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gravius manages to avoid it.
Gravius tries to clinch up.
Meyer is looking to land body kicks.
Meyer throws a body punch but Gravius moves out of range.

Gravius slips a straight right by Meyer.
Gravius will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Meyer scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Gravius throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Gravius has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Meyer.
Meyer avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Meyer loads up on a big right hand but Gravius slips the punch.
Meyer misses with a hook. Gravius ducked under it nicely.

Meyer lands a jab to the nose.
Meyer misses with a two punch combination.
Gravius lands a nice looking kick to the body. Meyer takes a step back to recover.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Meyer takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Gravius tries a knee to the head but Meyer blocks it.
A head punch on the inside from Meyer fails to land.
Gravius pushes Meyer back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gravius manages to break the clinch.
Gravius lands a nice looking kick to the body. Meyer takes a step back to recover.
Gravius moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Gravius uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Meyer has time to react.
Gravius scores with a push kick.
Gravius turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Gravius scoring well with a low kick there.
Meyer on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Gravius pushes Meyer away with a front kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Meyer tries to keep at a distance but Gravius has taken the fight into the clinch.

Gravius has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Meyer gets tackled into the cage by Gravius. Gravius maintains the clinch.
Gravius unloads a knee to the mid-section. Meyer lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Gravius drops Meyer with a big knee straight up the middle! Meyer is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kurt Meyer's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
