The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dance darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Dance is just content to waste time from the top position. Davis takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Davis is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Davis is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Dance presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
