The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGobblecock pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Montferrand shoots in and gets a takedown into McGobblecock's guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Montferrand is on top in guard.

McGobblecock bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Montferrand's guard.
McGobblecock throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Montferrand works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

McGobblecock looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Montferrand shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. McGobblecock manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
McGobblecock wants to sweep but no luck.
McGobblecock lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Montferrand!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Montferrand is looking to improve his position but McGobblecock isn't that keen on the idea.

McGobblecock fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
BOOM! McGobblecock connects with a massive shot to the dome!
McGobblecock looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Montferrand is trying desperately to improve position.
McGobblecock cracks Montferrand with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Montferrand is rocked!
Montferrand takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! McGobblecock's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

BJ McGobblecock really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Fury Nutrition Inc. logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
