Slavas has chosen WolfMother as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Okin Slavas!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Roberts and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slavas throws a jab but it's blocked by Hendricks.
Slavas keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Hendricks throws a wild body kick that Slavas sees coming a mile off.

Hendricks takes the fight into the clinch.
Hendricks tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Slavas avoids it.
Slavas is looking to take this one to the mat.
Hendricks tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Slavas gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Slavas passes into side control, despite Hendricks's attempt to control the position.
Hendricks throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
You can see the frustration on Hendricks's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Slavas creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hendricks sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Hendricks is trying to control Slavas's posture but Slavas avoids it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The strikes coming from Slavas are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Hendricks is being controlled here.

Hendricks throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Hendricks gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Hendricks really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hendricks is looking to improve his position.
Slavas wants to pass the guard but Hendricks is defending well.
Slavas has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Slavas is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Hendricks!
Hendricks slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
