and Maria counters with a good, hard body kick but Bullettooth shrugs it off.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bullettooth, as that shot connected.

Bullettooth has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Maria slips a straight right by Bullettooth.

Bullettooth lands a nice hook to Maria's body. Maria takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Maria is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Bullettooth throws the kick towards the body but Maria avoids it.

Bullettooth cracks Maria with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Bullettooth throws a low kick but it's checked well by Maria.
Bullettooth bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Maria's head backwards.
Boris The Bullettooth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Maria counters with a head kick that drops Bullettooth to the mat! Bullettooth scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Bullettooth fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Maria is out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bullettooth throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Bullettooth tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sloppy strikes from Bullettooth. Those never looked like landing.
