Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva closes the distance and pushes Gracie back into the cage.

Gracie drops down looking for an ankle pick but Silva pulls his leg out and moves away.

Silva goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Silva looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well.

Gracie shoots in and bounces Silva off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Gracie won't allow Silva to get back to his feet.
Gracie looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Gracie is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Silva is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Silva has escaped and now he's on top!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Silva works to advance to full mount. Gracie defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

A big strike lands for Silva! That's really hurt Gracie and he's turned his back - Silva keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Silva jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
