Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oren Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Royal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Royal comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sex Pistols:- God Save The Queen kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Oren Spencer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, George Royal!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Phil Schofield and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Royal throws a head kick that misses.
Royal throws a head kick but Spencer moves out of range.
Spencer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Spencer drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Royal lands with an uppercut that bounces Spencer off the cage and back into range.
Spencer goes for a double leg but Royal avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Royal continues to drive forward.
The referee is keeping an eye on Royal - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Spencer working hard to break the clinch.
Spencer is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Royal to keep the fight standing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Royal connects with a couple of short punches.


Spencer is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Royal advances position into side control!
Oh Spencer is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Royal trying to control the position but Spencer is working away.
Spencer is trying to improve his position.

Royal is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Spencer has escaped the position, nice work there.
Spencer seems to have got his legs back now.

Royal wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Spencer, who protects the arm well.

Spencer is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Royal's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Spencer is looking for a sweep. Royal is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Royal has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Spencer is working to get back to half guard.
Spencer sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Spencer looks like he's trying to stand up.
Royal wants to take a breather but Spencer is having none of it.
Spencer is looking to improve his position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Royal trying to control from half guard but Spencer is working away.

Spencer is defending against the submission attempts here by Royal.
Royal tries to pass the half guard into mount. Spencer knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Royal won't allow Spencer to sweep him here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

George Royal dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Royal throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Spencer sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Spencer fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Spencer gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Royal to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Spencer lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Royal!
Royal is trying desperately to improve position.
Spencer lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Royal hang on?

Spencer prevents Royal from getting the reversal.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Spencer has hold of Royal's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Royal manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Royal tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Spencer looking to secure an arm triangle but Royal defends it well.
Royal is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Royal is trying to reverse the position but instead Spencer has taken his back - oops!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Royal is trying to get back to his feet but Spencer has full control of the position and if anything, Royal has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Royal rolls, trying to escape but Spencer keeps control of the position.
Spencer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Royal keeps trying to improve his position.
Royal is breathing heavily.

Spencer looking for the choke but no joy.
Spencer has the hooks in. Royal is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Spencer has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Royal! Can he survive? No! He's out! Spencer gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
