Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between B A Ware (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Cooke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). B A Ware has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, B A Ware!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eric Cooke!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooke lands a high kick!
It looks like B A Ware has been cut.
A head kick by Ware misses
and Cooke counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Cooke thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Ware if he has to take too many more of those.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cooke changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ware looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The strikes coming from Cooke are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Cooke swings around for an armbar but Ware sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Cooke's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cooke is on top in guard.
Ware wants to sweep here but Cooke controlling him for the moment.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Cooke working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Ware avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Cooke tries to free his leg and advance position but Ware is retaining full guard.
Ware pulls Cooke in close to prevent any damage.

Cooke tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cooke has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Eric Cooke showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Cooke checks a leg kick.
Cooke tries to clinch but Ware moves out of range.
Ware misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ware has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Cooke moves in looking to clinch but Ware pushes him off.
Cooke slips a jab and a cross from Ware.
No luck for Cooke with that takedown attempt.
Ware tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Eric Cooke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ware takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Ware gets tackled into the ropes by Cooke. Cooke maintains the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ware fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Cooke misses with a punch on the inside.
Cooke has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

A hook to the body from Cooke.
Ware lands a right hand.
Ware is looking to break free of the clinch but Cooke has double underhooks.
Cooke works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Ware creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Ware looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
A nice right hand lands inside from Cooke.
Cooke lands a left hand.
Cooke lands an uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cooke drops Ware with a big right hand! Cooke charges in looking to finish - Ware manages to keep Cooke in his guard and seems to have recovered somewhat.
Ware is rocked!
Cooke wants to control from the top but Ware keeps moving.
Oh Ware is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cooke arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Ware's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Eric Cooke decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
