Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bertram Hurley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Dan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dan showed some decent athleticism there.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dan slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Kenji Dan wasn't active enough on the ground.

and Hurley makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Dan tries to close the distance and clinch but Hurley swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dan throws a right and a left that Hurley avoids nicely.

Dan fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hurley tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Dan misses with a takedown attempt - Hurley sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bertram Hurley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenji Dan.

Hurley feints a jab promting Dan to slip. Hurley then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Dan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Kenji Dan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Dan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hurley sprawls well. Hurley wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dan gets slowly back to his feet.

Kenji Dan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dan darts in looking for a takedown but Hurley gets double underhooks and turns Dan into the cage.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Dan has eaten all the pies!

Kenji Dan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

I would just about give that final round to Kenji Dan.
