The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harper tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mcneil manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Harper looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Harper gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Mcneil loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Harper working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mcneil doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mcneil manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Oh but Harper is tightening it up a little... Mcneil has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Mcneil reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Mcneil taps out! Nice BJJ there by Harper!
