Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Damian Acevedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georges Stpierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Georges Stpierre was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stpierre drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Stpierre tries to advance to mount but can't.

Stpierre goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Acevedo has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Stpierre but great work by Acevedo.

Stpierre fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Acevedo manages to avoid it.
