Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Urijah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Price is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hank Williams III - Thrown out of the Bar. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Urijah Faber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dan Price!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faber looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Price darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Price tries to bum rush Faber with a series of wild strikes but Faber uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Faber tries to score a power double leg takedown but Price sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Faber somewhat.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
A jab from Price finds it's way through Faber's defenses.
Price misses with a head kick.
Faber changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Price tries to avoid it but Faber manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Price to the ground. Price escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Urijah Faber. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Faber takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Price lands a jab to the head.
Faber tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Price defends well and Faber ends up having to push Price into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Price is leaning against Faber and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Price scores with a hook to the body.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Price.
Faber jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Price walks away with a smile on his face. Faber gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Dan Price is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Faber lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Price circles away quickly and effectively.
Good shot there by Price.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Price slips under a jab from Faber.
Price connects with a solid leg kick.
Faber looks for a takedown but Price sprawls well.
Price throws a nice inside leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Price misses with a few strikes there.

Price fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Faber, pushing him back against the cage.
Faber has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Price avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Price lands a right hand.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Price misses with a punch on the inside.
Price lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Price lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Price lands a hook to the side of the head.
Price pushes Faber back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
A short right from Price.
Price working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Price digs a right hand into Faber's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Faber's gas tank.
Faber tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Price just stands there and leans against the cage.
Price softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Price gets through Faber's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Good body shot from Price.
Faber has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Price after a bit of a struggle.
Price working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Price lands a nice uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Price lands an uppercut.
Price tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Faber's elbow.
A left hand lands to the body for Price.
Price lands with a right to the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Price creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.


Faber is rocked!
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Price.
Oh Faber is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Price digs a right hand into Faber's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Faber's gas tank.
Faber seems to have got his legs back now.
Price scores with a shoulder strike.
Price unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Faber! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Price is unloading with more strikes now! Faber drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Price!
