The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parrish looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Lesnar is doing well to control the position and prevent Parrish from advancing to side control.
Lesnar is trying to get back to full guard.
Parrish could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Parrish is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lesnar can do anything to dispel that myth.

Parrish looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Parrish has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Lesnar to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Parrish is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Lesnar pulls down on the head and he's put Parrish to sleep! This one is all over!
