Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tomy Hansson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clyde Tingley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansson moves to clinch but Tingley breaks away
and Tingley counters with a leg kick.
Hansson fails with a takedown attempt.
Nice body kick from Tingley.
Tingley cracks the inside of Hansson's front leg.
Tingley connects with an inside leg kick.
Hansson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tingley tries to avoid it but Hansson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tingley to the ground. Tingley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hansson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tingley sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tomy Hansson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Tingley throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Hansson stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Tingley follows into mount!

It looks like Tomy Hansson has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Hansson looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Hansson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Clyde Tingley was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Tingley slaps away a takedown attempt from Hansson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hansson goes for a double leg but Tingley avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tingley continues to drive forward.

Tingley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Tingley counters with an outside leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tingley connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Hansson is breathing heavily.
That kick from Tingley tenderised Hansson's leg. Hansson is trying to keep his angry face on.
Hansson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tingley's waist but Tingley gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hansson off to one side.

Hansson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A slapping leg kick lands for Tingley.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Tingley's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hansson under the eye.

Tingley connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Tingley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tomy Hansson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Hansson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Tingley lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hansson's sensitive parts.

Tingley feints and then cracks Hansson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hansson down.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tingley dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hansson. That did some damage!
Hansson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Good leg kick by Tingley there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Tingley moves into range and connects with a jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hansson seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Tingley shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Hansson is backing up but Tingley catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Hansson covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Tingley Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
