The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Booth enables Haekkeson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Booth manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Booth has his feet on Haekkeson's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Marius Haekkeson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Booth is pulling down on Haekkeson's head to control his posture.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Booth has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Guillermo Booth will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Haekkeson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Booth closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Haekkeson quickly recovers to half guard.

Booth postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Haekkeson to stand up.
Booth throws a low kick but Haekkeson moves out of range easily.

Haekkeson is looking to slow Booth down with leg kicks.

Haekkeson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Haekkeson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Haekkeson tries to get to his feet but Booth is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Haekkeson in his guard.
Booth pulls Haekkeson in close to prevent any damage.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Haekkeson gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Booth keeps control of Haekkeson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Haekkeson stuffs the takedown.

Haekkeson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Booth did well to prevent Haekkeson getting side control.

Booth decides to stand and escape the position.
Haekkeson connects with a body shot that sends Booth's belly button to the back.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Booth shoots in and gets a takedown into Haekkeson's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Booth drops an elbow to the side of Haekkeson's head.
Guillermo Booth overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Haekkeson is trying to stand up here but Booth is controlling him well.
Haekkeson wants to control but Booth is keeping busy.

Booth decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Booth manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Booth quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Booth but it's paid off an Haekkeson is forced to tap! Nice work by Booth.
