Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christer Pettersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clay Mercer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pettersson comes to the cage accompanied by Korn - Did My Time . Mercer is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kid CuDi - Wylin Cuz I'm Young. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Mercer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pettersson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Pettersson counters with a low kick, right behind Mercer 's knee.

Mercer lands a big head kick that sends Pettersson tumbling to the mat! Mercer takes a step backwards and waves Pettersson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pettersson thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Mercer if he has to take too many more of those.

and Pettersson counters with a low kick, right behind Mercer 's knee.
Mercer stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Pettersson.

Pettersson throws a sloppy head kick and Mercer moves out of range easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Pettersson is looking to score with low kicks.
That kick from Mercer tenderised Pettersson's leg. Pettersson is trying to keep his angry face on.
Pettersson cracks a nice hook into Mercer's ribs.

and Mercer makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

That's time! Pettersson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Mercer takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Pettersson ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Pettersson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mercer.

Mercer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pettersson throws a front kick aimed at Mercer's knee but Mercer avoids it well.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pettersson.
Pettersson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mercer darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Mercer has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mercer there as he acknowledges the shot.
Pettersson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Mercer misses with an uppercut.
Mercer takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Mercer is rocked!
Pettersson throws a pinpoint strike between Mercer's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Mercer crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Pettersson scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Christer Pettersson!
Christer Pettersson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
