These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gullion scores with a nice right hand.
Novkovic misses with a body kick.
Gullion looks to land a combination but Novkovic avoids it well.
Novkovic moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Novkovic misses the body punch
and Gullion counters with a right hand to the body.
Gullion blocks a head kick by Novkovic.
Novkovic throws a right hand that misses
and Gullion counters with a body kick that stops Novkovic in his tracks momentarily.
Novkovic throws an off balance right hand
and Gullion counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Novkovic throws a leg kick but Gullion moved away.
Gullion takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Gullion checks a leg kick.
Gullion is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Novkovic will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Novkovic throws a sloppy head kick
and Gullion counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Novkovic badly! He tries to strike back but Gullion puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Novkovic out cold! Oh man, Novkovic will never hear the end of this one!
