The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammond looks for a takedown but Petrushka sprawls well.
Petrushka swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hammond counters with a straight right hand.
Petrushka throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
No joy there for Petrushka, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hammond is looking to clinch but Petrushka is avoiding it.
Petrushka throws a right hand that Hammond ducks under and follows up with a left that Hammond also avoids with ease.
Petrushka throws a combination that misses
and Hammond cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Petrushka connects with a crisp jab.
It looks like Anibal Hammond has been cut.
Petrushka connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Hammond tumbling to the canvas! Petrushka pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Hammond was done - good stoppage!
