Wilkins has chosen LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock You Out as his entrance music. Peter Kent has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkins lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kent backs up against the cage.
Kent misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wilkins throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Wilkins!
Kent fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kent slips a jab and a cross from Wilkins.
Kent staying out of range there.
Wilkins is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kent.

Kent on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A left and a right from Wilkins both land. Nice combination.
Wilkins connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wilkins moves out of range as Kent strikes.

Wilkins throws a good cross that connects.

Kent swings for the body but Wilkins moves out of range.

Kent swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wilkins throws a head kick but Kent moves out of range.
Wilkins lands a jab to the nose.
Peter Kent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kent displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wilkins throws out the jab.
Wilkins throws a half hearted mid kick.
Kent clinches.
Wilkins is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kent pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Wilkins is trying to drag Kent to the mat but Kent just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Kent is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Peter Kent has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Wilkins.
Kent breaks the clinch.
Wilkins doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

The fighters circle momentarily. Kent darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Jay Wilkins has been cut.

Kent takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Kent drops Wilkins with a left right combo! Kent follows him down to the ground into side control.
Wilkins tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Kent landing a few strikes.

Kent happy to just control the position for now.
Wilkins is still in real trouble! Can Kent finish him?
Kent lands a few punches from side control.
A big shot lands for Kent! That's hurt Wilkins! Will he recover? Kent fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
