Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spartacus Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cee Chulainn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cee Chulainn will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chulainn takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Halo misses with a head kick.
Chulainn lands with a right hand.
The fighters circle momentarily. Chulainn darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Chulainn lands with a shot to the body.
Chulainn checks the leg kick.
Halo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Halo misses with a lunging right hand
and Chulainn counters with a stiff right hand.
Chulainn tries to clinch there but Halo circles away.
Halo throws a body kick that misses.
Halo tries to score with a low kick but Chulainn moves his leg out of the way.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chulainn rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Halo counters with a single leg into guard. Chulainn didn't expect that.
Halo prevents Chulainn from getting back to his feet.
Halo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Halo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Halo content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Halo advances to half guard.
Chulainn is looking to improve his position.
Halo sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Halo prevents Chulainn from standing back up.
Chulainn is looking to improve his position.
Halo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Chulainn with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Halo looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Chulainn is looking to escape.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Chulainn is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Halo has latched onto it... Big trouble! Halo pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Chulainn is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Halo!
