Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Scarpa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Flores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flores has chosen The XX - Intro as his entrance music. Gregory Scarpa is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gregory Scarpa!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rafael Flores!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Flores closes the distance and pushes Scarpa back into the cage.
Scarpa tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Flores's coach down at Laboratorium was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Flores's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

We've been hearing reports that Scarpa has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Flores is stalling here. Scarpa is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Flores seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Scarpa has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Rafael Flores has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Scarpa looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Flores is fending him off so far but Scarpa persists. Nope, Flores circles away and we're back to standing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 4, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rafael Flores! Rafael Flores retains his light heavyweight title!
Rafael Flores took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'It feels good to beat the best manager in the game. But, Unfortunately you were not able to do that today. Nice fight. '.
