PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cii Chulainn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Fardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fardy is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Smack My Bitch Up. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Josh Fardy was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chulainn tries to clinch up.
Fardy lunges at Chulainn with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Chulainn's hand.
Fardy bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Chulainn's head backwards.
Chulainn fails with the takedown
and Fardy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Fardy walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Chulainn checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Chulainn misses with a takedown attempt
and Fardy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Chulainn tries for a takedown but Fardy circles away easily
enabling Fardy to counter with a crisp jab.

Chulainn is rocked!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cii Chulainn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fardy drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Chulainn right on the button. Chulainn goes down! Fardy follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Fardy gets the win via TKO!
