Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Kung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pika Chu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chu has chosen Gotta Catch Em All as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kung fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Chu avoids it really well and circles away.
Chu displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kung.
Kung tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Chu defends well and Kung ends up having to push Chu into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stefan Kung. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kung is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Chu pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Kung is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Chu gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Chu wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kung has him pressed against the cage.
Chu tries to break free but Kung pushes him back against the cage.
Kung is trying to pull guard but Chu has him pressed against the cage.
Kung keeps control of Chu as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Kung prevents Chu from breaking the clinch.

Chu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chu's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Chu duly obliges.

It looks like Stefan Kung has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chu connects with the punch.

Kung is rocked!
Chu sizes up Kung with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Oh Kung is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kung fails with the takedown.
Kung seems to have got his legs back now.
No joy there for Chu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Chu lands a body shot.
Chu looks for the body kick but Kung saw that one coming.
Chu with a hook.

Kung shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kung seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chu does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Kung seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Kung is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Chu is just riding it out for now. Kung eventually gives up the hold.
Chu wants to get back to his feet.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kung is looking for a kimura but Chu is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kung to get the leverage.
Chu is trying to stand.
Kung drops an elbow to the side of Chu's head.

Kung is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Chu is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
